Gemma Zimmerhansl Interior Design Work Experience
In May 2020, after graduating from KLC School of Design, I had the opportunity to work for Gemma Zimmerhansl Interior Design who recently created an online platform named ‘The Premium Collection’. This was remote experience, working from home during Covid-19. It advertises their luxury design items from a wide array of networks from product designers and artisans to bring into home decor retail sector. The Premium Collection provides furniture, lighting, accessories and outdoor furnishing from the most respected brands from around the world and hidden gems waiting to be discovered, with a view to create a user-experience driven platform through which to elevate the current paradigm of online home decor shopping. This company wanted us, the interns, to create a range of collections to help navigate the buyers through the content to make an easier shopping experience.
